1) Rubber Coated Ramp Fingers
Many Ramps utilize multiple rubber coated aluminum fingers. Our motorcycle loading ramps use more fingers than most motorcycle loading ramps to gain more points of contact with the truck gate or trailer, ensuring a more secure and stable base, while loading and unloading.
The rubber tips add grip to the ramp end and also provide protections from scratching painted surfaces.
2) Serrated Crossbars
The profile of the serrated crossbars used allows for better traction than many other motorcycle loading ramp brands. This helps to control tire slide when loading and unloading.
3) Plates
Plates are used on many of our motorcycle loading ramps in place of rubber coated fingers. On ramps with load capacities of 3,000 to 10,000 pounds, a heavy duty plate is used to ensure strength at the point of contact with the trailer.
On mesh motorcycle loading ramps, used primarily for small wheeled equipment or to walk up the ramp, a plate is used at the top to allow for a smoother transition on and off the ramp.
4) Mesh
Mesh is used to give the best traction when someone walks up the ramp and for small wheeled equipment which may fall between the cross bars of other ramps.
On mesh motorcycle loading ramps, a plate is used instead of rubber coated fingers to allow for a smoother transition on and off the ramp.
5) Slotted Tubing
The patented slotted tubing used on a number of motorcycle loading ramps was designed to protect you, the user, as well as the ramps themselves
By protecting the ends of the serrated rods or expanded metal, the user does not need to be concerned with snagging their hands or clothes on the otherwise rough edge left in the manufacturing process. The slits on the tubes also protect the rod or expanded metal from snagging on wires or cables exposed on the vehicle when loading and unloading.
An added plus is that slotted tubing adds strength to the motorcycle loading ramp while minimally increasing the overall weight.
6) New! Safety Straps
The newly added Safety Straps are designed to secure the motorcycle loading ramp down, while loading and unloading.
The straps have been lengthened between the rubber coated hook and quick release buckle to better accommodate taller tailgates found on newer pickup truck models.
7) HT Series Hinge Mechanism
The essence of the HT Series is found in the patented interlocking hinge
Unique to the motorcycle loading ramp industry, the HT Hinge allows for a light-weight, durable product which provides ease of storage and gained security to the user’s investment
The advance hinge design by far exceeds the limitations of the average motorcycle loading ramp.
8) 5 Year defect Guarantee
Our guarantee on our motorcycle loading ramps is valid against defects in material or workmanship for a period of five years from the date of purchase. We reserve the right to inspect the ramp(s) for alterations, abuse or misuse, which would void the guarantee.
